Driftmier Architects designed the remodel of WaFd Bank’s branch in historic downtown Sandpoint, ID. Originally built in 1955 and updated many times, the building now features modern finishes for an open, inviting interior. The storefront windows were expanded and replaced with energy-efficient glazing, and the exterior received fresh paint. The existing brick vault and heavy steel door remain prominent interior features. Additionally, the breakroom was updated, and a new accessible restroom added.
