When WAFD Bank was approached by their landlord with an opportunity to relocate to a new building within the shopping center, the bank engaged Driftmier Architects to develop the interior design for the new space. Early coordination with the landlord’s architect to customize elements of the shell building to better meet the needs of the bank limited rework to the new building once the bank’s interior construction started. The design of the 1,750 sf branch takes advantage of the building’s tall windows and high ceilings to create a bright and open interior. Driftmier Architects provided interior design, permit drawings and construction administration for the new branch.
