Timberland Bank - Edgewood
Thirty years after the original construction, Timberland Bank’s Edgewood branch was in need of a makeover. Timberland hired Driftmier Architects to design a remodel that would improve the aesthetics of both the interior and exterior of the building, while creating a more functional and efficient work space for employees.
The dark and heavy front overhang was opened up with large timber trusses to create a bright and inviting entrance for customers. Exterior siding, roofing and windows were replaced and new exterior lighting accents the building.
On the interior, low hung lights were switched out to open up the lobby, and the traditional teller line was replaced by teller pods to increase interaction between employees and customers. The 2,362 SF branch provides three offices, a vault, a break room, a mechanical mezzanine and the facility is now ADA accessible.
