Bishops Cuts / Color celebrated the opening of its newest location at 310 Bellevue Way NE on November 22nd. This is the first location on the Eastside of Lake Washington for the Portland based company. Working with Mark Wuscher, the local Bishops franchise owner, Driftmier Architects utilized Bishops’ corporate design manual to develop construction drawings and secure permits from the City of Bellevue.
The 1,270 sf tenant improvement includes 8 cutting stations, a waiting area, and an enlarged utility room. A polished concrete floor and open ceiling create an industrial feel in the space which is accented by bold graphics and colors. Landmark Construction Services was the general contractor for the project, and Amour Unsderfer Engineering provided the structural design. Michael Winnick managed the project for Driftmier and was supported by Sabrina Addison.
