This large scale remodel and expansion to Redmond Center, which is owned by Redmond-based Nelson Legacy Group, involved the demolition of three buildings, expansion of the shopping center and a new parking layout. Approximately 9,000 sf of space was remodeled and 28,000 sf of new tenant space was constructed. After the demolition of three existing structures, the completed facility was enlarged by 15,000 sf.
Included in the project is a public art installation created by Seattle based Koryn Rolstad Studios. The artwork consists of graphics backlit by LED lights that create the illusion that the artwork is moving and changing. The Redmond Arts Commission has included the piece in the City’s Art Walk.
